    Stoppblock.org (a.k.a. Ads by Stoppblock.org or Stoppblock adware ) is presented as a web service, which allows users to use “indirect browsing“, which basically means, that user’s are allowed to use Stoppblock.org’s proxy servers to browse 3rd party websites, some of which may be block in user’s home country, however, this doesn’t automatically mean, that blocked website will be accessible by “indirect browsing” proxy servers even though it’s stated on the website’s homepage. On the Stoppblock.org Terms of Service page it’s clearly stated, that “Any resource, downloaded through our services may be modified by this service“, which basically means – the “indirect browsing” service will modify web pages, by adding some web ads, which is the way we use to sponsor the service. The Stoppblock.org Privacy Page states, that the website will collect the requested URI (web page URL, requested by the user), the data provided by your browser to the requested website (username,passwords,screen resolution etc)the originating IP address (your IP address) and all the cookies, provided by these 3rd party websites. Finally, our malware experts warned us, that the Stoppblock.org service, is regarded as a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Product) and/or an Adware by the majority of the reputable malware researchers and that the Stoppblock.org service is fully capable of infiltrating computers without consent and that it employs various adware related methods for intrusive ads delivery and that the collect private browsing data will eventually be either shared or sold to some 3rd party company, that will use it for its own marketing purposes.
